It was a chilly start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We did see mostly cloudy skies with a little bit of sunshine. We made it up to 61 degrees for an afternoon high. The moisture will be on the increase for the latter half of our weekend. The forecast for tonight calls for a few showers possible with an overnight low around 52 degrees. Tomorrow we can expect mostly cloudy skies with showers likely. Look for a daytime high around 64 degrees. The winds will be out of the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Another very strong cold front will be arriving on Monday. There is a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. The winds are also going to rather gusty behind the front. We can expect abundant sunshine and much cooler weather through midweek. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 50’s with overnight lows in the 30’s. We can expect a gradual warm up as we get closer to next weekend.
