Our unseasonably warm weather is ending as a series of Canadian cold fronts arrives in the Coastal Bend over the next several days. The first one will arrive overnight tonight and sweep the area before daybreak tomorrow. The second front will arrive late Sunday night and bring the coldest temperatures not only of the season but in the last seven months. Both fronts will bring rain to the area and in some spots it will be heavy. Big changes are on the way.

Tonight will be turning breezy and cooler with rain increasing behind the front and temperatures falling into the 60’s.

Friday expect it to be windy and much cooler with rain likely then slowly tapering off by evening and temperatures falling from the 60’s into the 50’s.

Friday night will be rather breezy and chilly with occasional light rain or drizzle and a low near 50.

Saturday most of the rain except for a brief shower is over but staying cloudy and chilly with a high of only 58.

Sunday will briefly be a little milder but cloudy skies remain and still cool with a high of 67.

Note…temperatures will drop into the 30’s for nighttime lows Tuesday and Wednesday morning of next week.
