Corpus Christi – We are waking up to some much warmer temperatures across the Coastal Bend this morning. Many areas are about 10 to 15 degrees warmer than yesterday at this time. A weak cold front will also be rolling through later this morning. There is a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy skies with an afternoon high around 78 degrees. The winds will be shifting to the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures with an overnight low of 66 degrees.
We will return to sunny and warm weather conditions for the first half of the workweek. Look for daytime highs in the low to mid 80’s. The overnight lows will be around 70 degrees. However, this will change dramatically after a much stronger cold front moves through the area late on Thursday. This will bring us much cooler weather and more widespread rain as we move closer to next weekend.
