CORPUS CHRISTI – We saw a bit more cloud cover today across the Coastal Bend and some rather breezy conditions. Our peak wind gust was around 34 miles per hour this afternoon. Tonight we are looking for mostly cloudy skies with a bit milder temperatures. Look for an overnight low around 69 degrees. A weak cold front will be approaching the area tomorrow morning. This will give us a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with a daytime high around 78 degrees. The winds will shift to the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The beginning of the workweek will bring mostly sunny skies with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80’s. A much stronger cold front will move in late on Thursday. There is a much better chance of wet weather with this front. It will also usher in much cooler temps for the latter half of the week. Don’t forget to set your clocks back before you head to bed. You get an extra hour of sleep tonight.
