After last week’s rainfall, we needed a weekend with plenty of sunshine to allow the grounds to dry up a bit! Also, it benefited those who enjoyed all the weekend festivities that were going on.
Tonight it won’t be quite as cool as last night, but it will still be mainly clear with lows in the middle 60s. Patchy fog will once again be out there, so use caution on the early morning commute. Wind: S 5-10MPH
The start of the work week will still be nice, but humidity will be on the rise thanks to the southerly wind off the Gulf resulting in a few more clouds. Highs will push the upper 80s. Winds: SSE 10-15MPH
Clouds will continue increase through Wednesday, Halloween, when a cold front starts to push through the Lone Star State. This front may bring a bag of tricks for area Trick-or-Treater’s and cause some sprinkles to light showers by Wednesday evening as it gets closer to the Coastal Bend. Rainfall is not forecast to be severe or heavy at this time and prior to its arrival it will be warm, muggy and breezy. The front will then move through around 11PM-3AM Thursday morning and after it does the rain chances move out and drier and cooler air will filter in. Keep updated with the latest forecast as timing of the front could change as we get closer to Halloween.
Highs for the rest of the week will be pushed back down into the 70s with plenty of sunshine; evening going into the weekend.
