We are waking up to some rather thick fog across parts of the Coastal Bend this morning. A dense fog advisory has been issued through 10am. This will give way to abundant sunshine and warm temperatures this afternoon. The forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies with a daytime high around 86 degrees. The winds will be light out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly clear skies with more fog developing. Look for an overnight low around 65 degrees.
Temperatures will remain in the mid 80’s through the middle part of the workweek. However, the winds will be increasing quite a bit ahead of the next cold front. This will likely arrive on Wednesday evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible with the frontal passage. People with outdoor plans for Halloween should be prepared for the possibility of rain. Sunny and cooler weather will return for the latter half of the week.
