CORPUS CHRISTI – It looks like we are going to see a few more showers across parts of the Coastal Bend today. Temperatures will remain in the mid 70’s. It will also be a bit muggy. We have a lot of moisture working it’s way into South Texas. However some drier air will move in for the end to the weekend. The forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly cloudy skies with showers likely. Look for an afternoon high around 76 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the north at 10 to 15 miles per hour. A few isolated showers will be possible tonight. We will see an overnight low around 66 degrees. The forecast for Sunday calls for mostly cloudy skies with a daytime high around 72 degrees.
The next disturbance to impact South Texas will arrive on Monday. We will see the potential for some locally heavy rainfall. We will remain in a rather wet weather pattern for much of the week ahead. The daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70’s. The overnight lows will be in the 60’s.
