CORPUS CHRISTI – We are looking for one more very warm day before things start to change dramatically with our weather. The forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 90 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. A Coastal Flood Advisory will remain in effect through tomorrow morning. This means we will continue to see both high surf and high tides. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible with an overnight low around 67 degrees.

The first real cold front of the season is going to blow through tomorrow morning. Showers and thunderstorms are likely with the frontal passage. It will also turn windy and cooler behind the front. Temperatures will be dropping in the afternoon. We should see a daytime high around 70 degrees tomorrow. The cloudy, wet and cool weather will stick around for much of the workweek. Temperatures will only get into the upper 50’s on Tuesday. We can expect the mid to upper 60’s Wednesday and Thursday. A gradual warm up is expected as we get closer to the weekend.
