Tropical moisture is on the increase along with instability as a very weak cold front approaches south Texas. The front will push into the area early Wednesday and temperatures really won’t drop that much but the humidity will be lower making it feel a little more comfortable through the end of the week. By Sunday a stronger cold front will push into the area with showers and noticeably cooler temperatures into early next week. Michael is no threat to the Texas coast except for higher than normal tides.

Tuesday expect lots of clouds very warm and humid with scattered thundershowers (some heavy) and a high of 89.

Tuesday night we will have numerous thundershowers especially near the coast and a low of 74.

Wednesday expect showers to end early in the morning then gradual clearing with light winds through the afternoon and still hot with a high near 90.

Less humid and more reasonable temperatures Wednesday night through Friday morning.
