CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a hot and humid start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw a few isolated showers with a daytime high of 89 degrees. We will see similar weather conditions for the next couple of days. The winds will pick up a bit on Sunday. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with a few showers. Look for an overnight low around 76 degrees. The forecast for tomorrow calls for more sunshine and breezy conditions. We will see an afternoon high around 90 degrees. Winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

There is a better chance of more widespread showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. We are also expecting some type of tropical system to move through the Central Gulf. It will likely move inland between Louisiana and Florida. However, this could bring us some minor coastal flooding and swell midweek. Daytime highs next week will be in the mid to upper 80’s with overnight lows in the 70’s.
