Tropical moisture in the western Gulf (unrelated to “Gordon”) will continue to move westward making for an unstable atmosphere and more scattered but beneficial rain for the area into Friday. Gordon will be slowly dissipating over the Mississippi river valley on Wednesday. Temperatures will be a little warmer than normal at night and lower than normal during the day due to more cloud cover and less sun around the tropical showers which could also produce locally heavy downpours.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy very humid and hot in and around scattered tropical showers with a high near 90.
Wednesday night will be tranquil and steamy with coastal showers developing toward daybreak again and a low of 75.
Thursday expect more scattered tropical showers with lots of clouds light winds and a high of only 89 but very humid.
