We are looking for another round of showers across portions of the Coastal Bend again today. The storms will continue to be rather hit and miss. However, some of these storms could produce some brief heavy rainfall. This pattern will continue through the remainder of the holiday weekend. The forecast for today calls for partly sunny skies with showers and thunderstorms possible. Look for a daytime high around 94 degrees. Winds will be light out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 75 degrees.
We will continue with only isolated showers through Labor Day. The afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid 90’s with overnight lows in the mid 70’s. We will see increasing moisture moving in for the middle part of next week. This will give us a much better chance of more widespread showers Tuesday through Thursday.
