We are looking for increasing rain chances the next several days here in the Coastal Bend. High pressure has shifted away from our area opening up the door for abundant gulf moisture. The showers will be a little less widespread for the holiday weekend. The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms. We will see a daytime high around 94 degrees this afternoon. The winds will be light out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies and mild conditions with an overnight low around 76 degrees.
The forecast for this weekend continues with partly sunny skies and only isolated showers. Daytime highs will be in the lower to mid 90’s with overnight lows in the mid 70’s. Showers will be on the increase again early next week.
