Upper level high pressure will slowly build north of the Coastal Bend allowing for a more tropical flow from the east which will result in a few showers by the weekend. In the meantime a dissipating front in central Texas will weaken our winds through the end of this week.

Tonight will be breezy, warm and humid but more seasonal with a low of 76.

On Tuesday, expect a little less wind (still breezy) sunny skies with very hot, humid conditions. The high will be 97 and a heat index of 105-110.

Tuesday night will be quiet and nearly calm. Under moon-lit skies expect a low of 74.

Wednesday will be sunny with generally light winds and a high of 98 and a heat index around 105.

The tropics in the Atlantic basin continue to be quiet.
