CORPUS CHRISTI – We are going to end the weekend with more hot and humid weather conditions. The heat index values will range from 105 to 109 degrees. Use extreme caution when spending extended periods of time outdoor. It will also be rather windy this afternoon. The forecast for today calls for abundant sunshine with an afternoon high around 96 degrees. The winds will be picking up out of the south at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 78 degrees.
We will remain in this hot and dry weather pattern for much of the workweek ahead. However, a front will make it’s way into Central Texas by Tuesday. This could help bring us a few isolated showers on Wednesday. Daytime highs will continue in the mid 90’s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 70’s. We could also see a few showers as we move into next weekend.
