A little less wind will make it hotter the next two days

Sunshine and heat will dominate our weather through the weekend. Winds will be less on Friday and Saturday but increasing ahead of a weak cold front on Sunday. As the front dissipates and the  winds lesson the middle of next week this will touch off a few showers that are badly needed in the area. In the tropics there is no threat however Ernesto is in the mid north Atlantic and newly formed Invest 99L approaching the eastern Caribbean will encounter unfavorable conditions this weekend.

Tonight will be warm and stuffy with a low of 77 under mainly clear skies.

Friday will be sunny blistering hot and dry with a moderate breeze and a high of 96.

Friday night expect fair skies and a seasonal low of 76.

Saturday expect lots of sunshine again dry and baking hot with a high of 96.

Sunday we will have more wind and humidity but still dry with sunshine and highs in the mid 90’s.

The heat index will top out near 110 each afternoon.
