We are beginning to settle into our typical August weather pattern with a few sea breeze showers and seasonal but very hot temperatures with a moderate afternoon breeze that quiets down at night. The only thing missing is an active tropics which thank goodness is quiet for now with no current threats in the Atlantic basin.

Tonight will be warm and sticky with fair skies and a low of 76.

Thursday expect only a stray sea breeze shower otherwise breezy humid and sweltering hot with variable sunshine and a high of 96.

Thursday night will be warm and stuffy with mainly clear skies and a low of 77.

Friday will be mostly sunny breezy and blazing hot again with just a stray shower again and a high of 96.

The heat index tops out at 105 to 110 each afternoon.

Debby is now in the cooler waters of the central north Atlantic and is no threat and in the process of dissipating.
