CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Cemetery has a special event scheduled for Veterans Day today with a virtual Veterans Day ceremony.
The event will be hosted by Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush to honor our veterans.
Keynote remarks will be provided by retired Major General Albert C. Zapanta, a U.S. Army Veteran and the current president and CEO of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets for the presentation of the colors.
Serving as the chaplain to provide the prayer and benediction will be U.S. Marine Corps Veteran David Little.
U.S. Navy Veteran and Operation Encore member Shannon Book will provide the National Anthem.
This ceremony will be conducted virtually only, in order to comply with state guidelines for social distancing.
