Today is the day to celebrate the love of pancakes as well as give back to the community!!
It’s the 14th Annual IHOP Free Pancake Day – Flip It Forward for Kids event! On this day only, March 12th, IHOP restaurants across the nation will be giving away FREE short stacks of its world-famous buttermilk pancakes between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
In return, you can help by donating (not required) any amount on-check or in-restaurant through collection boxers to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. Shriners Hospitals for Children care for children regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Guests can also buy a $5 wall tag icon and will receive a $5 coupon goof for a future purchase of $10 or more.
As part of the IHOP Free Pancake Day celebration, IHOP has began their KID Chef Team, which consist of children between the ages of 6-16, who battled life-threatening illnesses. This years Champion had the OREO Oh My Goodness pancake that is the winning kid chef pancake, it will be available at IHOP restaurants nationwide until April 14th. Along with the money raised on Free Pancake Day, one dollar from every sale of the kid chef pancake will also benefit Shriners and other charities.
