Embattled Judge Guy Williams was back in court on Monday.
Williams is currently out on bond for several charges stemming from two separate incidents, including resisting arrest, DWI andunlawfully carrying a weapon.
At today’s hearing, the defense asked the judge to relax the conditions of Williams’ release.
Before ruling, the court had a warning for Williams.
“You’re kind of your own worst enemy,” said Judge Sid Harle. “I don’t care about the alcohol and the drugs, if you have a problem then that will just probably lead me to look at bond conditions to the extent that you stay in jail until we get the case tried.”
Judge Harle agreed to have Williams’ GPS monitor removed. Williams will also have his firearms returned, but he is only allowed to use them for home protection. He is not allowed to carry them on his person or in a vehicle.
