CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There will be a little break in our intense heat.
Tropical moisture moving north across the Gulf will give us a shot a few showers today.
Most of the activity will be focused around afternoon heating. The showers will be isolated in nature and we don't expect any significant thundershowers.
The chance for showers will decrease after sundown and the redevelop over the weekend. Unfortunately, the oppressive heat returns next week.
