CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A teenage boy is recovering after being hit by a truck this afternoon.
According to Corpus Christi Police Officer Aaron Schmidt, around 3:30 p.m., the 15-year old was on his bicycle crossing the 47-hundred block of Ayers Street near Sunnybrook Drive when he was hit.
He was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline to be checked out.
Police detained the driver but there's no word on whether he'll face charges.
