Person of interest in string of robberies identified

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police are looking for a man who allegedly was identified in a string of robberies.

Police say the person of interest has been identified as 26-year-old Gavino Ybarra. Detectives believe that Gavino may have some information related to a string of robberies.

Between 6:10 and 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, police say the suspect robbed the McDonald's at Morgan and Crosstown, the Walgreen's next door and La Paletera down the street in Bonilla Plaza.

He was last seen running into a neighborhood near Bonilla Plaza.

Police believe he's also involved in a CVS robbery that happened Wednesday afternoon.
