HOUSTON — The World Series begins tonight, with the Houston Astros looking to take home their second title in three seasons.

The Astros will hook up against the Nationals, who are making the first appearance by a Washington-based team since 1933. The Nationals, formerly the Montreal Expos before moving to the nation's capital in 2005, are gunning for their first world championship in franchise history in their initial World Series trip.

Check out the slideshow above to see which of the players on Houston's 40-man roster you may have seen under the lights at Whataburger Field.

The series begins tonight at 7:08 p.m. in Houston. The game will be shown on Fox, and will be available on radio on KSIX 1230 AM.

RHP Gerrit Cole will be starting for the Astros, and RHP Max Scherzer for the Nationals.
