CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Astros are just one win away from clinching a second World Series championship.
You may not be able to make it to Minute Maid Park, but you can still cheer on the Astros tonight for Game 6 at Whataburger Field.
That's where the Hooks are hosting a viewing party tonight.
The gates opened about 6 p.m.
And everybody here - for the most part - are decked out in their orange and blue Astros gear.
Stores, like Dick's Sporting Goods in Corpus Christi, have been selling tons of Astros hats, shirts and jerseys.
You can even pick up a travel mug, a flag for your car, and lots of other stuff.
And get this.
If the Astros win tonight and clinch the series – Dick’s and the Academy stores in Corpus Christi and Portland will reopen immediately after the game ends.
They’ll be selling World Series championship gear, just like they did two years ago when the Astros won their first title.
The game will be on here at Whataburger Field on the Jumbotron.
You can watch from the stands or even the field.
And get this - the Hooks encourage you to bring your baseball and glove so you can play catch under the big lights.
The first pitch is set for 7:07 p.m.
It’s free to get in here, parking is free, and there is food for sale inside the stadium
