WACO, Texas — Longtime Sinton Baseball coach Gene Kasprzyk was inducted into the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame today.

Kasprzyk was the Pirates coach for 30 years. He won 777 career games including three state championships for the Pirates before retiring in 2015.
He will be inducted with two others including Texas Rangers legend Nolan Ryan.
Kasprzyk serves as the color commentator the Corpus Christi Hooks home radio broadcasts.
