The Calallen Softball team ends their best season in program history in a heart-breaking loss to the Angleton Ladycats in the UIL 5A Softball State Final.
The first inning was quiet for Calallen, Angleton managed to shut down the Wildcats in the top of the first.

The fourth and fifth inning were spectacular defensive displays. Calallen and Angleton managing to keep each other away from home base until the bottom of the sixth. Angleton brings in two more runs right before the final inning.

The Calallen Wildcats were unable to close the gap in the final outs of the game. These students put in a great deal of effort to get where they did, and we are proud of them finishing their most winningest season in program history.
