PORT LAVACA, Texas — Sizzling Beeville will be gunning for its 12th straight victory to start the season when it meets El Campo tonight in the playoffs.

The Ricebirds are 9-2 and have won at least one playoff game in their last six appearances.

Beeville's explosive offense has hung at least 33 points in nine of its 11 games but they might need another offensive binge tonight against the Ricebirds.

Rolando Rodriguez is there with Beeville coach Chris Soza for his last-minute thoughts before tonight's game.

Check with Roland for all of tonight's action as only a part of the Coastal Bend's more extensive center for high school football coverage.
