CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's Monday, meaning it’s time for us to announce our Friday Night Fever Gamechanger Award winner.
As always, there are lots of great choices. But only one can win.
Let’s return to Friday night when Miller hooked up with Flour Bluff.
First place in District 15-5A Division I was on the line.
Miller quarterback Andrew Body was his usual spectacular self, hitting 20 of 29 passes for 296 yards and a touchdown.
Body sparked a big comeback, rallying the Bucs from a 14-point deficit.
He scored the game winning touchdown with 22 seconds remaining, powering Miller to a 34-28 victory to remain at 7-0.
Body was a true camechanger. And you can see the reaction on the sideline after the Bucs’ wild victory.
Congratulations to Miller quarterback Andrew Body, our Friday Night Fever Gamechanger.
The Bucs will be back in the feature spotlight for a second straight week when they meet Veterans Memorial at 7:30 p.m.Friday at Buc Stadium in this week’s Friday Night Fever marquee matchup.
