G-P WR runs away with Gamechanger award

Well, it's Monday -- time to announce our Friday Night Fever Gamechanger Award winner. As always, lots and lots of great choices to choose from but only one can win, so lets take a look: Lets go back to Friday night.

The Gregory-Portland Wildcats played host to Somerset in a key district showdown, and the cats came to play: especially Jude Wiggins.

He caught six passes, three of those for touchdowns to help lead the Wildcats to a 31-21 victory.

He was certainly a gamechanger, because not only did he enjoy great success at wide receiver, he also played defense back. So he played both ways all night and played a spectacular game.

So he wins our Friday Night Fever Gamechanger award.

Because of that victory they stay just one game behind of both Calallen and Alice in a very tight race in District 15-5A Division II as we enter Week 8. Here's an update look at the standings:
