CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Calallen Wildcats are preparing for their big Class 5A-Division II Region 4 showdown with Boerne Champion Saturday night.
Kickoff will be at 8 p.m. at the Alamodome.
The Wildcats are 13-1 and have shown no signs of slippage after losing several key players from last year's team.
It’s all about the next man up for them.
“We knew coming in we would be losing a decent amount of offense and defensive players and we were obviously doubted,” Calallen running back Jeremiah Earls said. “But at the same time, we knew that as long as we put in our work every day at practice and during games that we would be fine.”
