CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Week 1 of the high school football season is in the books. Plenty of our Coastal Bend teams won their non-district matchups and there were plenty of fantastic individual performances. But only one could be named the Friday Night Fever Game Changer for Week 1.

Miller quarterback Andrew Body kicked off his junior season with a bang, leading the Bucs to a massive 79-0 victory over San Antonio Highlands.

Body was nearly perfect completing 23 of 28 passes for 382 yards and accounted for six passing touchdowns. He also ran for a 35-yard touchdown.

The Bucs have one of the most high powered offenses in the Coastal Bend and they are looking for redemption after missing the playoffs last season. Body will be a force to be reckoned all season. It didn't take long for him to show off his talent to kick off 2019.

Congratulations to Andrew on the winning the first Friday Night Fever Game Changer award of 2019.
