CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's the middle of the baseball season when things start to become a grind for the players and often times injuries can occur.

That’s when players are often being placed within the organization for their rehab starts. The Hooks had George springer at the end of June make his way through Corpus Christi and now we have Aledmys Diaz.

The shortstop made one start at Triple A Round Rock the other day and made his first appearance in a Hooks uniform last night.

His performance wasn't ideal, going 0-for-3 with three strike outs, but baseball is not an easy game as no one needs a reminder on that.

Dias is recovering from a hamstring injury and is looking to make his return to the big league roster very soon.

But in the meantime, he will be making some starts in front of the Corpus Christi faithful. He'll get the start tonight once more, and for Diaz he's looking to get back to full strength while playing a handful of different positions for the Hooks.
