The MLB All-Star Game starters were announced last night. Today, the All-Star Futures Game announced its starters.
The event coincides with the MLB All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
Each team has at least one representative from their farm system to play in the game each year. And for the Astros, it will be Hooks pitcher J.B.Bukauskas.
He’s the fifth-best prospect for the Astros with an 0-3 record and 5.97 record so far for Corpus Christi this season.
This year’s numbers for him are not indicative of the talent Bukauskas has. Last year, he recorded a stellar 2.14 ERA.
