Two area teams are still alive in the state baseball playoffs.

The Bishop Badgers in Class 3A just keep rolling along, refusing to lose. They are coming off a two-game sweep of Yoakum last week.

The Badgers have not lost a playoff game yet.

We’ll have a report on them tomorrow night as we check in on the Badgers and get their thoughts on why baseball has been so successful there.

Up next is Blanco, coming off a series win over Banquete.

And Refugio hooks up with Big Sandy in the Class 2A Region IV finals at Houston Memorial High School starting Wednesday night.
