The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders will open their Southland Conference season with a game Wednesday against Central Arkansas at the American Bank Center.
We’ll have all the action beginning at 7 p.m. on KDF.
The Islanders (5-8) are looking to stem a three-game losing streak against the Bears, who are also 5-8.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has dominated the series with UCA, claiming 12 of the previous 14 games in the series which began in 2007. UCA’s victory at home last season snapped the Islanders’ six-game winning streak in the series.
The Bears have struggled away from home, losing eight of their previous nine games.
