Flour Bluff cruised to a 35-21 victory over San Antonio Southwest for the third victory Friday afternoon by an area team in the high school playoffs.
Earlier, West Oso continued its magical playoff advance with a 62-31 triumph over Llano Friday afternoon. It is the Bears’ deepest playoff advance in 15 seasons.
And Veterans Memorial overcame a sluggish start before cruising to a 58-21 victory over San Antonio Harlan.
Two other Corpus Christi-area teams continue their playoff march Friday night.
Calallen squares off with Alamo Heights at 7:30 p.m. in San Antonio.
