Upper-level high pressure will continue to slowly ease northwest of the area, allowing for a little bit of tropical moisture to enter the region beginning on Monday.

This will produce some shower activity that has been void of the area since Hurricane Hanna.

Tonight we will have fair skies, and light winds after midnight with a low of 75.

Saturday will be sunny, hazy, dry, and scorching hot with a high of 96.

Saturday night expect clear skies, calm, and quiet late with a low seasonal low of 75.

Sunday will be sunny, with generally light winds and sweltering heat, with a high of 98.

The heat index will top out between 105 and 110 each afternoon.

Josephine and now Kyle, both in the Atlantic, are no threat to any land areas at this time.
