CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Every now and then Corpus Christi Animal Care Services bring in a dog that may be a little timid to the newsroom crew.

Starsky started out this way, completely unsure of what his 15 minutes of fame was going to be like. But, within minutes (and a few head rubs) he was wagging his tail and showing off his precious stoic face.

Starsky has been with CCACS for just about a week, and he is hoping to cuddle up in your arms by the weekend!

He's a rat-terrier mix, only weighing in at 30 lbs. Starsky did have a Hutch, but Hutch has already been adopted to a loving family. That just means he's ready to find his furever home!

He's a chill dude who enjoys hanging out while getting a few rubs here and there. Starsky just needs to be fixed and then he will be ready to go for adoption!

If you're ready to get snuggles from Starsky, then go without delay to 2626 Holly Road and meet him. You can do so any day from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., including weekends.

To reach CCACS by phone, call (361) 826-4630.
