CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of the oldest locally owned businesses in the Coastal Bend is the subject of our We're Open report for Thursday.
Corpus Christi Electric Company, 2323 Leopard St., has been taking care of electric needs in the area since 1931.
They've been at their current Leopard Street location since 1995.
C.C. Electric specializes in building and supplying industrial and electrical products for local refineries and commercial businesses in our area.
And while they have had multiple owners over the years, they are now 100 percent employee owned.
Throughout the company's storied 89-year history, giving back to the community has always been a top priority.
That philosophy still holds true today.
"We are right down the road from Metro Ministries,so we have been able to support them and work with that environment," C.C. Electric Co. president and CEO Bryan Butler said. "It’s important for us.”
