CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A woman who had just gotten off a bus was hit by a car Monday morning as she tried to cross Gollihar Road near Prescott Road.
The driver of the car told police she was pulling out of a parking lot to get onto Gollihar Road.
The victim was crossing the street when the car hit her walker.
She was knocked to the ground but fortunately there were no major injuries.
The driver was not ticketed.
