HUMBLE, Texas — Powerful storms ripped through southeastern parts of Texas over the weekend, bringing flash floods and tornadoes.
The city of Humble was one of the hardest hit. A tornado appeared to have touched down there Saturday night and caused extensive damage.
Debris and downed power lines could be seen throughout the area and several homes were damaged.
Power outages continued into yesterday afternoon, affecting thousands of people.
