CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Department of Public Safety will increase patrols all day on Sunday due to the Super Bowl LV.
It’s part of a nationwide "crash awareness and effort initiative."
DPS officials say that troopers will be looking for drivers who are speeding, failing to wear seat belts and driving under the influence.
The DPS also wants to remind people about IwatchTexas.org, a mobile app that allows you to report suspicious behavior or activity on the road.
