CONROE, TX (CNN) – A 12-year-old Texas boy is accused of murder after shooting his brother Saturday.
Police in Conroe, about 40 miles north of Houston, say they responding to a shooting call Saturday afternoon.
That’s when they found a ten-year-old boy with a gunshot wound in the chest.
Deputies say the boy was transported to the emergency room where he was later pronounced dead.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and charged the boy’s older brother with murder.
The boy is now being held at a juvenile detention center.
