It is is big night for Texas politics as Senator Ted Cruz and the person who hopes to take his seat, El Paso Congressman Beto O’Rourke, square off in their first debate.
The debate will be in Dallas at Southern Methodist University and the topic will be domestic policy.
You can watch the hour-long debate live on our sister station, The CW, at 6 p.m. We will rebroadcast the debate on KRIS 6 after late-night programming.
This is the first of three debates scheduled between the two. A second debate will be held in Houston on Sept. 30, and a third in San Antonio on Oct. 16.
