Southside residents drowning in high water bills

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A number of southside residents tell KRIS 6 News their water bills nearly tripled this month.

Several people have water bills well over $400 this month, and they claim nothing's changed about their usage.

After not finding anyone willing to talk yesterday, one of the affected residents has agreed to speak with me today to voice their concerns.

I've also contacted District 5 City Councilman Gil Hernandez.
