ARANSAS PASS, Texas — The Coast Guard has suspended the search for the owner of a kayak found in the water near Aransas Pass.
The search began Sunday morning when someone found an orange kayak.
It had fishing gear inside, but no one on board.
Coast Guard sent out a chopper and boat to search the area, but called off their search just before 9 p.m.
The Coast Guard asks anyone that may be able to identify the owner of the kayak to contact them at 939-0450.
