Early voting underway in mayoral/city council runoff election

Early voting for the upcoming city elections will begin Saturday and continue until Dec. 14.

Balloting will continue to elect a mayor and city council members in districts 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Any registered voter may vote early by personal appearance (in person) from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. And from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Dec. 14 at the main early voting place at Nueces County Courthouse, 901 Leopard St.

Voting (unless otherwise indicated) also will be held at the following sites.

CORPUS CHRISTI CITY HALL–1201 Leopard St. (Closed Saturday and Sunday)

DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING CENTER–5151 McArdle Rd.

DRISCOLL ISD (Guadalupe Hernandez Complex)–425 W. Dragon St. in Driscoll.

ETHEL EYERLY SENIOR CENTER–654 Graham Rd.

GREENWOOD SENIOR CENTER–4040 Greenwood Dr.

HILLTOP COMMUNITY CENTER–11425 Leopard St.

SCHLITTERBAHN–14353 Commodores Dr.

THE VALENICA–6110 Ayers St.

VETERANS’ MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL–3750 Cimarron Blvd. (Closed Saturday)

Curbside balloting will continue at all locations. More information about that can be obtained at (361) 888-0303.

Friday is the last day to apply for a ballot by mail. It must be received by the Nueces County Clerk, not simply postmarked.  For ballot by mail eligibility requirements or to request a ballot by mail, please visit this link.
