CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man is dead after being shot overnight.
It happened around 4:45 a.m. in the 1700 block of Morris Street near the crosstown expressway.
Police say they responded to a shots fired call.
When they arrived, they found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound outside of his home.
He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
An investigation into who shot the man is underway.
