Nine hurt after lightning hits tree

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Several people were hurt after a lightning strike caused a tree to fall on a tent at a swim club.

It happened at the dolphin swim club around 5 p-m Sunday in Bucks County north of Philadelphia.

Witnesses say the tree fell on a large tent with people inside which led to several people screaming.

At least nine people were hurt, including children.

At least two people suffered severe head injuries while another suffered a back injury.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
